Let us be grateful to people that makes us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust
People come into our lives and people leave. No matter if we crossed paths for 5 minutes or a lifetime, they leave a part of them with us and take a part of us with them. I met some wonderful people from all over the world in Vancouver, and they made my summer very special. I hope to see them again sometime and will try to keep in touch virtually, but even if I never saw them or heard from them again, I will always consider them my friends and I’m forever grateful for their kindness.
Two consecutive blog posts in a row? Shocking, I know. No, I’m not sick, just trying to catch up on things, and well, here you have it.
Another mountaintop post and photos, and just my luck, it had to be very very overcast that day, making it impossible to
appreciate even see the views from Top of the World. Still, not complaining, I guess now I just have an even better excuse to go back to Whistler soon. Even with the clouded views, whatever I did get to see was lovely and I consider myself lucky I got to experience any of it at all.
Unfortunately, between the clouds and the on-and-off rain, I wasn’t able to take very many photos. So if you’re ever in Vancouver, definitely make sure to schedule at least a day trip to Whistler, ride the gondolas up the mountain, especially the glass-bottom peak-to-peak one, and experience it all yourself. Rain or no rain, you’ll love it, I promise!
